Business Development Manager – Korea

About the role

IDTechEx is seeking a Korean‑speaking Business Development Manager to drive B2B sales, develop new accounts and manage existing client relationships across Korea. The role involves regular travel to client sites and international events.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage new prospects through events, LinkedIn outreach, lead follow‑up and industry monitoring.
• Retain and grow existing accounts by meeting client needs and building trust.
• Establish strategic relationships with C‑level executives.
• Represent IDTechEx at international exhibitions and networking events.
• Match client requirements to IDTechEx reports, subscriptions and consulting services.
• Manage the sales pipeline for the designated territory and devise strategies to increase revenue.
• Achieve defined sales targets and monitor competitor activity.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and support company‑wide initiatives.
• Travel to customer locations and events to deliver presentations.

Required profile

• Fluent in Korean.
• Based in Korea or able to travel there regularly.
• Minimum five years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in new‑business development and account management.
• Proven track record selling to C‑suite professionals.
• Highly self‑motivated, results‑driven and adaptable.
• Excellent interpersonal and IT skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively both nationally and abroad.
