Senior Manager Commercial Operations Korea

About the role

Intuitive, a pioneer in robotic-assisted surgery, is looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Commercial Operations for Korea. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Operations, Asia, the role drives sales alignment, commercial excellence and organizational capability across Korea and APAC's direct markets. It involves supporting key sales roles and programs, developing global customer reference sites and leading strategic projects, and requires applicants to live in Korea.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and train individual and leadership expectations and cross-functional ways of working, and measure region-wide competency and efficiency by role, activity and market maturity
• Work with the commercial learning team on sales training content for new hires, sales skill courses and leadership development programs, and foster adoption of Intuitive culture in all markets
• Work with APAC General Managers and sales leadership on go-to-market procedures, product and digital portfolio launches, and quarterly milestones aligned to annual targets
• Align with corporate business units and enabling functions on new strategies and programs, and coach clinical, specialty, capital and key account sales activities in the field
• Help market teams build hospital, surgeon and care team key opinion leaders who become global reference sites, and teach sales teams to use metrics to grow the da Vinci program

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of medical sales and marketing experience, with knowledge of the operating room environment preferred
• 5+ years of commercial leadership or management experience
• Understanding of clinical and capital sales processes
• Ability to present and defend evidence to internal and external C-suite decision makers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Extensive travel required (up to 70%+)
• Minimum BS/BA degree; Master's degree preferred
