Senior Clinical Research Specialist

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Specialist to join its team in Seoul, Korea. The role involves overseeing and designing clinical evaluation studies, contributing to product development, and supporting evidence dissemination.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and develop clinical evaluation research studies, authoring protocols and patient record forms.
• Oversee registered and non‑registered clinical studies, interpret results for new drug‑device or consumer applications, and manage operational aspects in line with SOPs, GCP and local regulations.
• Prepare clinical trial budgets, manage clinical supply operations, and select sites and vendors.
• Represent Medtronic in the region, gather feedback from customers and authorities, and build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 2 years.
• Preferably 7 years in a clinical research setting, with knowledge of project management.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and ability to work both autonomously and within a team.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and standard operating procedures.
