Sales Manager - Hotel

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is looking for a full-time Sales Manager, Assistant Department Head, reporting to the Director of Sales. The role is dedicated to creating personalized experiences and lasting memories for guests, covering corporate, MICE, leisure and other hotel business.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the hotel's sales program and implement sales action plans by segment and geography, in line with the marketing plan
• Solicit rooms, food and beverage, banquet and other business from corporate, MICE and leisure segments, and write strategic sales action plans for them
• Monitor accounts revenue and business production for corporate, embassy, government, FIT, meetings and events accounts, and maximize up-selling opportunities
• Plan sales trips to major markets, attend trade shows and promotional events, and host corporate familiarization groups and hotel tours
• Review direct competition, conduct research, and keep the hotel database and central information system up to date with support from office staff
• Complete weekly sales call reports, maintain account corporate profiles, and run telemarketing and online research to qualify accounts
• Develop new accounts by mapping business and buying tendencies, conduct site inspections, and liaise with the Conference Service Team and WSOs on leads
• Cross-sell sister properties, F&B, vouchers and spa, train and develop junior sales staff, and meet or exceed the sales targets set by the Director of Sales

Required profile

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in hotel sales
• Bachelor's degree
• Valid work authorization in South Korea
• Ability to interact professionally with customers, employees and third parties, with problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Good bilingual writing skills
