Food & Beverage Server

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is looking for a full-time Food & Beverage Server (line staff) who shares a passion for excellence and creates personalized experiences for guests. The position reports to the Restaurant Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Serve guests with an enjoyable, expertly prepared beverage and dining experience meeting Four Seasons standards of quality, professionalism and friendliness.
• Stock linens, china, glass, silver and food items; help prepare small items such as toast, soup or beverages.
• Prepare condiments and garnishes, plate and prepare food items, and deliver food from the kitchen accurately and on time.
• Clear, clean and set up buffets, food stations, tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver, and greet guests according to Four Seasons standards.
• Take guest reservations and communicate guest orders, special needs and requests to the kitchen via the hotel's point-of-sales system, coordinating food timings and checking completed orders against the original order.
• Handle guest complaints, concerns and special requests, and respond promptly to guest needs.
• Walk through the facility and kitchen to monitor food and beverage quality and service standards.
• Attend regular operational meetings and coordinate with employees and managers across departments.

Required profile

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• One to two years of food service or related work.
• Valid work authorization in South Korea.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray and to process cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Flexible schedule, able to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Four Seasons' cultural standards, policies and standard operating procedures.
• Reading, writing and oral English proficiency.
• Basic computer skills for online training and managing your own employee profile.
• Proactive, hands-on, autonomous and able to manage multiple priorities with lean resources.
