Lead Professional, Communications – Korea

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Communications in Korea, this senior position leads Nike Korea’s narrative‑led storytelling and media engagement. The role works closely with Marketing, Sports Marketing, Sales, Merchandising, Planning, Legal, HR, as well as APLA and Global Communications teams to translate global narratives into locally relevant content.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Korea‑specific communication strategies that align with business priorities and strengthen market trust.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the Korean media and editorial ecosystem, driving proactive story planning and stakeholder alignment.
• Lead press office excellence, including the creation of media materials, briefing tools, and storytelling pipelines.
• Manage communications agencies end‑to‑end, ensuring high‑quality output and performance.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and coordinated execution.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations, preferably within a global organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a related field.
• Proven end‑to‑end project management capability, from strategy to execution, including agency management.
• Strong network across Korea’s media and editorial landscape.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English.
