Clinical Research and Medical Science Director

About the role

Medtronic seeks a Clinical Research & Medical Sciences Director for South Korea to lead clinical and medical affairs, ensuring patient access to innovative technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and medical leadership in business reviews and discussions with country leaders.
• Develop and execute the clinical research and medical sciences agenda for South Korea.
• Lead the design, execution, and publication of local and global clinical studies across multiple therapy areas.
• Partner with marketing, regulatory, and external stakeholders to disseminate data through advisory boards, CMEs, webinars, and other channels.
• Maintain governance, compliance, and ethical standards for all activities.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor degree.
• Minimum 8 years of clinical research or medical affairs experience, with at least 7 years in a managerial role.
• Specialization in electrophysiology or surgical therapies, with proven electrophysiology experience.
• Fluent in English and Korean.
