Account Sales – Metrology & Inspection (PDC)

About the role

As an Account Sales professional within the Semiconductor Products Group, you will drive sales of Applied Materials’ Metrology and Inspection solutions, serving as the primary interface between customers and the company.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the account owner, representing Applied Materials to assigned customers and conveying customer needs internally.
• Develop deep understanding of customer technology roadmaps, manufacturing challenges and business priorities to shape sales strategies.
• Identify customer needs and execute complex sales strategies for Metrology and Inspection solutions.
• Engage with existing and new customers to present hardware capabilities, data‑driven solutions and conduct tool demonstrations.
• Coordinate customer meetings, technology reviews and prepare pricing proposals, leading commercial negotiations.
• Communicate product roadmaps, value propositions and feedback to internal product and engineering teams.
• Maintain accurate account documentation, opportunity tracking and develop customer‑specific action plans.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor process, hardware or technical sales.
• Strong cross‑functional communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in a specialized discipline within semiconductor metrology or inspection.
• Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend best practices.
• Proven leadership in guiding functional teams or projects.
