Senior FA&D Business Development Manager

About the role

PTC is hiring a Senior Business Development Manager for its Korea Business Development Team. The team supports the creation of new sales pipeline by understanding customers' businesses and delivering customer value in digital transformation. The role interacts closely with Sales, Presales and Marketing, as well as with global functions at PTC's headquarters in Boston.

Key responsibilities

• Work with Sales to identify key accounts for generating new pipeline and strategic opportunities.
• Engage C-level and senior executives at key accounts to drive digital transformation initiatives using PTC technology.
• Conduct value assessment engagements in key accounts, coordinating with Sales and the Digital Transformation Group at PTC HQ.
• Develop, document and share materials used by Business Development and Sales teams in customer engagements.
• Collaborate with local and global PTC teams to share best practices, use cases and market information.
• Achieve KPIs such as new pipeline and opportunity deal size.
• Act as a thought leader on digital transformation at sales and marketing activities, conferences, seminars and industry events.
• Work with cross-functional teams to run campaigns successfully and align with local go-to-market strategies.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in business development or consulting for federal, aerospace and defence industries, or leading business transformation in a manufacturing company.
• Demonstrated curiosity and ability to learn new domains, strategic thinking and collaborative work.
• Proven track record of successful business transformations.
• Ability to research and produce new materials for customers, and to present ideas and results to C-level executives.
• Ideally, work experience at a foreign-based company.
• Bachelor's degree (BA or BS).
• Native Korean and fluent English.
