Senior Brand Manager, Respiration & Immunology

About the role

AstraZeneca is looking for a Senior Brand Manager for its Respiration and Immunology therapeutic portfolio. The role maximizes the potential of the portfolio through strong relationships with internal and external customers, and manages promotion, pricing and positioning, pre- and post-launch strategy, disease-area vision, resource allocation and the marketing plan.

Key responsibilities

• Build and drive the brand strategy using customer insights, and lead the operational Business Action Plan with the Marketing Head and functional teams
• Develop campaign material and briefing documents, brief and select agencies, and manage agency performance and costs
• Collaborate with medical, access and sales teams, and lead regional and national sales meetings and business reviews
• Manage the budget for the territory, prepare cost estimates and implement promotional and communication strategies
• Maintain ethical compliance with AstraZeneca's Code of Ethics and local laws, and report on the status of tactical plans to customers
• Build relationships with key internal and external customers, including major hospitals and institutions, and visit the field regularly to train the sales team and gather market insight
• Assess brand performance proactively and propose actions to seize opportunities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above
• Fluent English (speaking and writing)
• 4-5 years of marketing experience and at least 8 years in the healthcare industry
• Effective decision-making, project and time management, and self-confidence

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Understanding of market research principles, sources, tools and methodology
