Product Manager – Ophthalmology Therapeutic Area

About the role

Santen, a life sciences company focused on ophthalmology with a presence in over 60 countries, is hiring a Product Manager in Seoul. The role develops and implements strategic marketing plans for a therapeutic area, aligned with the goals of the Patient Journey Solutions department.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for the therapeutic area, aligned with the Patient Journey Solutions department's goals.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis and customer insight work to define target segments and brand positioning.
• Manage product lifecycles, including line extensions and indication expansions.
• Build a deep understanding of the patient journey and treatment landscape in the therapeutic area.
• Run integrated marketing campaigns and promotions to raise brand awareness, engagement and adoption.
• Drive financial KPIs such as revenue targets, market share growth and profitability.
• Work with healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, KOLs and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Pharmacology, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 3 years in marketing.
• Proven pharmaceutical marketing experience, with a focus on product management and brand development.
• Fluent English and Korean, spoken and written.

• Strategic thinking and strong analytical skills, able to turn insights into marketing plans.
• Project management skills, handling several projects in a fast-paced environment.
