Installation Team Customer Engineer – Semiconductor Equipment

About the role

As a Field Service (Customer) Engineer on the Installation Team, you will act as the primary liaison with customers to install, maintain, and upgrade semiconductor and display equipment. You will travel frequently to customer sites, providing hands‑on technical support and ensuring optimal equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues using digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques.
• Coordinate directly with customers to resolve system errors and provide operational guidance.
• Document service activities and communicate status reports to internal teams.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience with semiconductor or display equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Eligible for overseas travel (no military service restrictions).

Required skills

• Knowledge of electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Proficiency with digital analytics tools for troubleshooting.
• Basic diagnostic and preventative maintenance techniques.
