EPI Installation Customer Engineer

About the role

The EPI Installation Customer Engineer works directly with customers to install, maintain, and upgrade advanced semiconductor and display equipment. The role involves troubleshooting using digital analytics and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various system components.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Coordinate and communicate directly with customers to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 1–2 years of experience in customer/field service support or a related technical field.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport for travel.
• Ability to meet on‑site safety, environmental, and COVID‑19 requirements.

Required skills

• Digital analytics for troubleshooting.
• Basic diagnostic techniques and reading electrical/mechanical schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools and digital multimeters.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
