About the role

The Process Support Engineer (PSE) will guide semiconductor products through their entire lifecycle, from concept to qualification, providing on‑site installations, system diagnostics, and complex equipment repair.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to understand roadmaps, incorporate technical requirements, and create business opportunities for Applied Materials.
• Provide comprehensive consulting on equipment diagnostics, problem solving, and system solutions, including on‑site evaluations and demo programs.
• Optimize process flows and equipment performance across technologies such as CVD, ALD, PVD, plasma etch, anneal and implant.

Required profile

• Experience in semiconductor process or equipment (any length of experience).
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Completed military service or exemption, with no travel restrictions.

Required skills

• Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD).
• Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) and Plasma Reactive Ion Etch.
• Anneal, Rapid Thermal Processing, and Ion Implant technologies.
• Data analysis using statistics and Design of Experiments (DOE).
