HWTL Test Coordinator

About the role

HP is looking for an HWTL Test Coordinator in Seongnam, South Korea. The role leads multiple project teams and supports internal development partners, overseeing the logistics of parts for builds and prototypes. It applies advanced subject-matter knowledge to solve complex business issues, manage project activities, schedules, budgets and resources, and mentor less-experienced staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a program across multiple functions and project teams that drives the engineering development and implementation of a product or service.
• Oversee the logistics of parts for builds and prototypes while working on several projects at once.
• Develop and direct schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation and other support requirements for the assigned program.
• Manage supporting project teams and internal development partners, adjusting schedules and resources to meet product requirements and the development timeline.
• Ensure procedural compliance, maintenance and safety practices are followed for new and existing equipment.
• Communicate progress, escalations and issue analysis to product stakeholders and recommend changes to products, processes or business practices to stay within budget and on schedule.
• Follow up on open points from trials and turn them into actionable items.
• Drive innovation and quality initiatives, and enforce best practices through documentation control policies and procedures.
• Mentor and guide less-experienced staff members.

Required profile

• Four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience.
• Typically 7-10 years of experience, preferably in engineering development and implementation, project planning tools and software, or people management.
