Facultative Leader – Korea (Senior Vice President)

About the role

Guy Carpenter is seeking a senior leader to drive its Korean facultative reinsurance business. Based in Seoul, you will be responsible for business development, client relationship management, and team mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and manage business development and revenue generation for the Korean facultative business.
• Lead and manage relationships with reinsurance markets and present new, renewal, and prospective proposals to clients and reinsurers.
• Support best broking practices, including client proposals, market submissions, and execution.
• Ensure compliance and professional standards in business operations and documentation.
• Mentor and develop the team, providing technical training to clients and colleagues.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in facultative/P&C broking, focused on reinsurance.
• Strong experience in Korean facultative markets and a proven sales track record.
• Leadership experience with team growth, management, and mentoring.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Korean.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to leverage digital tools and technology for business processes.
