Facultative Leader – Korea (Senior Vice President)

About the role

Guy Carpenter is seeking a senior leader to head its Korean facultative reinsurance business. Based in Seoul, you will drive business development, manage market relationships and mentor a local team.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and manage business development and revenue generation for the Korean facultative business.
• Lead and manage relationships with reinsurance markets and present new, renewal, and prospective proposals to clients and reinsurers.
• Design programs for new clients, support broking practices, and ensure compliance and documentation standards.
• Liaise with Guy Carpenter’s global network for expertise and support, and provide technical training to clients and colleagues.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in facultative/P&C broking, focused on reinsurance.
• Strong experience in Korean facultative markets and proven client‑focused sales drive.
• Leadership experience with team growth, management and mentoring.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Korean.

Required skills

• Proficient MS Office skills.
