ETCH Technical Product Support Engineer

About the role

The ETCH Technical Product Support Engineer provides third‑level escalation support for hardware and software issues, drives failure analysis, and ensures successful new product introductions at customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in new product introductions, early learning shipments, and resolve critical long‑term customer issues.
• Provide third‑level escalation for hardware and software stability problems and conduct failure analysis to identify root causes.
• Support Alpha and Beta sites with installation, calibration, service, and testing of new hardware, software, or processes.
• Generate and present system performance data (MTBF, MTBI, availability) and create documentation such as CENs and BKMs.
• Organize on‑site training for internal and external engineers and ensure field implementation of technical improvements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated depth of expertise in hardware and software troubleshooting within semiconductor equipment.
• Ability to lead functional teams or projects with moderate complexity and communicate technical concepts to customers.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to drive innovative solutions.
