About the role
The AIX Field Service Engineer is the primary contact for digital tools at customer sites, driving continual improvement and supporting complex problem solving across global locations.
Key responsibilities
- Identify improvement areas for digital tools and drive continual improvement.
- Serve as main point of contact for customer site digital tools worldwide.
- Explain difficult problems internally and build consensus with teams and customers.
- Support complex issues using data analytics and multiple information sources.
- Manage model propagation, dashboard configuration, and monitor signal trends.
- Provide mentoring on troubleshooting, new tools, and processes.
Required profile
- Expanded conceptual knowledge in the discipline and broader capabilities.
- Understanding of key business drivers and ability to apply them to work.
- Informal guidance to new team members without formal supervisory duties.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Applied Materials' digital products and applications.
- Familiarity with equipment and fab operations, including BKM modeling techniques.
