Country Marketing Executive (Rakuten Travel)

About the role

Rakuten Travel, one of Japan's leading online travel agencies and part of the Rakuten Group, is looking for a Country Marketing Executive to support its growth and brand presence in Korea. The role executes localized marketing strategies, runs impactful campaigns and strengthens brand awareness and customer engagement in the Korean market. It works closely with cross-functional teams and HQ.

Key responsibilities

• Develop content and social strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement
• Manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Naver, Kakao) with a strong content strategy and data analysis
• Own activation strategies across paid media channels
• Monitor market trends, competition and landscape, providing insights and best practices
• Use customer insights and seasonal data from internal and external tools
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and coordinate with HQ teams to deliver projects on time

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of marketing experience, including content and performance marketing in digital media
• Fluency in spoken and written Korean and English
• Strong understanding of the Korea market landscape and consumer behaviour
• Digital savviness, strong analytical and administrative skills, fast learner, team player and startup mindset
• OTA industry experience is a plus

Required skills

• Familiarity with Photoshop, Canva and Figma is a plus
