Associate Budget Analyst - INSCOM

About the role

Credence is hiring an Associate Budget Analyst to support the 501st MI DBE, Army INSCOM program at Camp Humphreys, Korea. INSCOM provides mission command of operational intelligence forces and intelligence-related logistics, contracting and communications for Army, Joint and Coalition commands. The role covers resource planning, programming, budgeting, execution (PPBE), congressional authorizations and appropriations, and resource oversight, including the preparation, review, analysis and maintenance of documentation and databases used in DOD resource management systems such as FYDP planning.

Key responsibilities

• Manpower programming and budgeting, including review of procurement requests and recommendation of corrective actions
• General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) work
• Budget execution and data maintenance, including current-year budget execution reporting
• Resource allocation and organization agreements
• Support for data packages and civilian resource management
• Management and accounting support, including review of MIPRs and UFRs and DTS/GTC tasks as needed

Required profile

• Active or current Top-Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility, verifiable in DISS
• Preferred: a bachelor's degree, or 4 additional years of DoD financial management experience instead
• Preferred: at least 5 years of DoD financial management experience
• Completion of Fiscal Law, PPBE and Intelligence Resource Management courses within 120 days of arrival is required
• Sufficient communication skills to interface with senior military officials, managers and subordinates

Required skills

• Experience with GFEBS is preferred
• Knowledge of PPBE and resource budgeting
