Account Manager - Samsung Business Unit

About the role

KLA, a provider of inspection tools, metrology systems and process solutions for electronics, is hiring an Account Manager for its Samsung Business Unit in Hwaseong-si, South Korea. The role advances business priorities by delivering high-impact work across the account, working with engineers, R&D and procurement teams to grow market share and revenue for KLA products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies to maximise market share and revenue for KLA products and services.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, including R&D, engineering and procurement teams.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive adoption of KLA's latest technologies and solutions to address Samsung's process control challenges.
• Act as the primary point of contact for commercial and technical customer inquiries, resolving them promptly.
• Collaborate with product development, applications engineering and service teams so customer requirements are met.
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions and manage the sales pipeline.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to inform product roadmaps and sales strategy.
• Forecast sales and report regularly on account performance against targets.

Required profile

• BS or above degree related to the semiconductor industry.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, account management or business development within the semiconductor capital equipment industry.
• Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or a related technical background, with experience in electroplating, electrochemical processes, wet chemistry or semiconductor manufacturing.
• Good communication skills in English.
