Senior Field Application Engineer - Automotive Software

About the role

Analog Devices is hiring a Senior Field Application Engineer for its automotive software portfolio (10BASE-T1S, GMSL, A2B S/W) based in Seoul, Korea. The role covers field application and technical support for assigned customers, working closely with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide field application and technical support for 10BASE-T1S, GMSL and A2B software to assigned customers
• Define and clarify field technical issues and collaborate with internal stakeholders
• Build relationships internally and externally

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications, Software or an equivalent discipline
• 4 to 10 years of experience as a software engineer for automotive software applications
• Good interpersonal skills, proactive and self-motivated, customer-oriented, organized and a solid team player
• Spoken and written English

Required skills

• Embedded systems (MCU or DSP) firmware
• Embedded communications: SPI, I2C, CAN and Ethernet
• C programming
• Understanding of software frameworks/stacks and hardware abstraction layers

Travel is required about 10% of the time, and the position is on the first shift, days. Access to technical data may require export licensing review, so non-US citizens and permanent residents may need to undergo that process. Analog Devices is an equal opportunity employer.
