Senior Product Manager - APAC Expansion

About the role

Wise is opening a new product hub in South Korea and is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the launch and expansion of its products in South Korea and other core, fast-growing Asian markets. The role leads a cross-functional team of engineers and analysts based in Seoul, working with product, compliance, engineering and marketing teams across Singapore and Japan.

Key responsibilities

• Own core APAC markets end-to-end as the primary product owner, shipping features and products to customers
• Design and ship new products, experiment and iterate to drive measurable growth
• Lead market entry for critical markets, from positioning and product scoping through licence acquisition to launch, working with regional marketing, pricing and operations teams
• Use data to inform decisions and measure impact (Lightdash, Superset, Snowflake)
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, analysts, compliance and banking teams and regional leadership

Required profile

• At least 4 years in product roles after graduation, with products shipped at scale
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to forecast first- and second-order effects of decisions
• Entrepreneurial, able to drive go-to-market execution and work across cultures and time zones
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to turn fuzzy problems into structured plans
• Experience in banking, payments, remittances or fintech is highly valued
• Nice to have: experience in market launches, licensing or regulatory work in Asia; fintech, neobank, crypto exchange, super-app or platform product background; startup founder experience
• Fluent written and spoken Korean preferred

• Data analysis using SQL, Python, Excel, R or similar tools
• Product research and data-driven decision-making
