Medical Representative, Gastro of Immunology, Busan

About the role

AbbVie is hiring a Medical Representative for its Gastro of Immunology portfolio in Busan. The primary objective is to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals in an assigned territory, driving consistent sales growth through high-quality products, technical expertise and excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and maintain consistent sales targets in the territory by promoting and selling products.
• Work with the Sales Manager to develop and implement territory sales plans based on approved forecasts.
• Use in-depth product knowledge and selling skills to meet the needs of healthcare professionals.
• Pursue new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing key accounts.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Represent the company at medical conferences, health talks and exhibitions.
• Monitor competitors' activities and share market intelligence on pricing, products and strategies with Sales and Marketing.
• Keep up to date on technical and product knowledge through workshops, publications and networking.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
• Support colleagues and uphold ethical standards and company guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of professional sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record in general hospital settings.
• Strong planning, organizational and presentation skills.
• Positive, customer-centric attitude and passion for the medical field.
• Proactive, results-oriented approach with a strong sense of urgency.
• Commitment to continuous learning and accountability for results.
