Mechanical Engineer (E3) – Pyeongtaek

About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer you will leverage a strong foundation in physics, mathematics and materials science to solve complex mechanical problems, design custom tooling and define processes that enable handling, assembly and disassembly of components throughout the product life cycle. You will be responsible for creating, developing and modifying mechanical layouts, schematics and specifications for advanced semiconductor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot difficult mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Define, coordinate, perform and document engineering test reports.
• Develop, design or modify mechanical layouts, schematics and drawings for challenging scopes.
• Perform engineering analysis of complex systems and lead projects to generate mechanical product specifications.
• Design and implement custom tooling, fixturing and associated processes, establishing standards across operational activities.
• Specify, review and manage engineering documentation and communicate complex information to build consensus.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 4‑7 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet‑metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis and Design for Excellence principles.
