Manager, Product Marketing - EP MCU/MPU Portfolio

About the role

Renesas Electronics is looking for a Manager, Product Marketing in Seoul for its Regional Product Marketing function. The role owns the go-to-market strategy, execution and growth of the EP MCU/MPU/Connectivity portfolio in South Korea, turning complex technical specs into customer value and adapting the global strategy to local market dynamics so that revenue and design-win targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Demand creation and design-wins: target high-potential customers, run regional seminars, tech days, partner scouting, enablement and trade shows, and track the Design-In to Design-Win pipeline.
• Work with distributors to support key accounts and long-tail customers, and build deep relationships with key customers aligned on product roadmap and support.
• Adjust local pricing to stay competitive, and customise collateral such as pitch decks and product positioning.
• Sales enablement: train sales teams and partners on new products, fighting guides and tech trends, and prepare evaluation boards, IDE support and software libraries.
• Market analysis and competitive intelligence on IoT, industrial automation and consumer electronics, and monitor competitors locally.
• Act as Voice of the Region: collect regional requirements and convince the global team to include them in the roadmap.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a related technical field; Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor, embedded systems or related industries.
• 5+ years in product marketing or product line management.
• Experience in P&L management, strategic marketing, technical marketing, business development, applications, supply chain management, cost management or similar roles.
• Track record of launching products, generating design-wins and driving revenue growth.

Required skills

• Understanding of microcontroller/microprocessor and connectivity applications in consumer, industrial, automotive and data centre markets.
• Knowledge of microcontroller architectures (ARM Cortex, RISC-V, etc.), connectivity technologies (WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC) and embedded software ecosystems.
• Understanding of semiconductor cost structures, wafer economics and supply chain dynamics.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, customer focus and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
