Director, AIx Field Service Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Director to lead the AIx Field Service Engineering team in Bundang. Reporting to the Regional SPO Head, you will drive digital transformation across the Field Service Organization, enhancing productivity and service growth.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance AIx team capabilities and drive adoption across the field organization.
• Formulate and implement strategies to deliver advanced diagnostics, predictive service insights, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with regional and global cross‑functional teams to define project scopes, pilot initiatives, and meet KPI targets.
• Provide strategic advice to leadership on data analytics, opportunities, and business impact.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of relevant experience, including people‑management of engineers.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguous situations and lead change management initiatives.
• Strategic thinker with strong influence and continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders across FSO, sales, digital enablement, and program groups.
