Customer Project Manager - Autonomous and Commercial Mobility

About the role

AUMOVIO, spun off from Continental's Automotive sector in September 2025, is looking for a Customer Project Manager (CPM) in its Autonomous and Commercial Mobility business in Seongnam, South Korea. The CPM is the overall owner and leader of the project, responsible for planning, executing and delivering it successfully within the agreed time schedule, budget and quality targets, and acts as the main internal and external interface for the project.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and control the project schedule, including PLC (product life cycle) and MLC (model life cycle) release planning, sample builds, customer deliveries and test events.
• Ensure work packages are delivered on time, initiate countermeasures for deviations and escalate issues as needed.
• Control project scope through target definition and change management, and lead change approval activities.
• Manage project costs arising from changes, and own the project budget, including planning, execution, cost management and reimbursement.
• Lead sample planning, including prototype phase definition and input for sample VRM (Vehicle Requirement Management).
• Prepare and perform gate releases so that the Gate Release Director can issue the final release.
• Serve as the primary customer interface, define project-level customer strategy with IPT and management, and report progress to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in automotive.
• Preferred: proven track record as a technical or discipline project leader of at least one completed project.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English and Korean, with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
