Process Support Engineer – SEMVision (Defect Analysis)

About the role

As a Process Support Engineer you will guide semiconductor products through their entire lifecycle, from concept to qualification, providing on‑site customer support, system diagnostics, and repair of complex equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑visibility customer support through on‑site installations, system diagnoses, and service and repair of complex systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with customers to develop leading‑edge processes for manufacturing advanced semiconductor chips.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyze data statistically, and compile reports with high‑level conclusions.
• Troubleshoot complex problems, perform root‑cause analyses, and resolve difficult process engineering and product issues.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to build relationships and achieve project goals.
• Apply knowledge of company processes and customer needs to propose solutions and analyze alternatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a semiconductor fab or equipment environment.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in a related discipline.
