Customer Engineer – 반도체 장비 엔지니어 (경력 1년 이상)

About the role

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions for semiconductor and display manufacturing. As a Field Service Engineer (Customer Engineer) you will act as the direct liaison with customers, installing, maintaining and upgrading cutting‑edge equipment across multiple sites in Korea.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and upgrade semiconductor/display equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic and gas systems.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Communicate directly with customers to ensure smooth operation and high‑quality service.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience with semiconductor or display equipment.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Completed or exempted military service with no travel restrictions.

Required skills

• Digital analytics for equipment troubleshooting.
• Preventative and corrective maintenance of complex system components (electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, gas).
