Service Technician (Youngnam)

About the role

KION Group is looking for a Service Technician based in Youngnam, Songpa-gu, to act as a resident technician who operates customers' equipment in line with project and service agreements. The role also covers identifying improvement opportunities, maintaining safety standards and ensuring high-quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Use hazard identification tools so that work practices, work areas and customer sites are hazard free.
• Resolve equipment faults within a reasonable time and ensure the quality of output.
• Carry out on-site preventative maintenance, service actions and other routine tasks according to customer requests and contract obligations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and complete all paperwork on time and correctly.
• Escalate issues in a timely manner and report on equipment that does not meet its design specifications.
• Manage allocated assets such as spare parts, computers and tools.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with customers and report sales opportunities to Customer Service and other divisions.
• Take part in continual improvement activities and inform Operations of improvements.
• Follow Dematic's health, safety and quality management systems, including reporting hazards, incidents and injuries.

Required profile

• Written and spoken English.
• Background or experience in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, factory automation or PLC (any one).
• Understanding of OH&S requirements.
• Customer focus, ability to work alone or in a team, and ability to analyse and work without supervision.
