Lean Specialist (Project Management)

About the role

GE Healthcare is hiring a Lean Specialist at its Seongnam ultrasound production research institute. The specialist drives the deployment and sustainment of the Lean Management System (LMS) and the Daily Management System (DMS) across the site, leading Kaizen deployment, problem-solving and productivity initiatives. The role partners with cross-functional teams, manages VCP/CCP programs, implements digital solutions via Power Platform tools and supports NPI improvement. It suits people with 0-3 years of experience who want to grow within supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deployment, sustainment and continuous improvement of the LMS and DMS, including Daily Management reviews, KPI tracking, action management and DMS audits.
• Lead Kaizen events and initiatives focused on productivity, quality, lead time and process efficiency, and manage the Kaizen pipeline (idea generation, project tracking, action follow-up, benefit validation, roadmap reviews).
• Drive Variable Cost Productivity (VCP) and Conversion Cost Productivity (CCP) initiatives and report performance.
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards and reporting systems.
• Benchmark and deploy best practices from internal and external sources.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and 3P activities through process reviews, value stream analysis, productivity assessments and manufacturability improvements.
• Deliver Lean training, coaching and capability-building programs.
• Prepare and communicate project updates, productivity results, Kaizen achievements and performance metrics to site and global leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 0-3 years of experience in Lean/Smart factory, or in Supply Chain, Production, Quality or Engineering.
• English communication skills are a must.
• Embraces and believes in Lean culture.
• Customer focused, able to handle conflicts in difficult situations.
• Passionate about learning and deploying Lean tools.
• Strong problem definition and structuring ability, with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented and results-driven.
