Senior Project Manager - Data Centre (Bilingual English/Korean)

About the role

Turner & Townsend is hiring a Senior Project Manager for data centre projects in Korea. You will lead the delivery of complex, mission-critical facilities with a focus on reliability, scalability and compliance, overseeing multiple project teams, managing high-value budgets and aligning work with client objectives, technical standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams, mentor project managers and junior staff, and drive resource planning to meet milestones and KPIs.
• Act as the main client contact, lead stakeholder meetings and build relationships with hyperscale, colocation and enterprise clients.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery in line with Uptime Institute Tier standards, ASHRAE guidelines and local regulations, including procurement of long-lead items such as generators, UPS systems and cooling equipment.
• Implement commissioning plans for mechanical, electrical and IT infrastructure, and ensure redundancy, resilience and energy efficiency targets are met across MEP systems.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to power, cooling and network infrastructure, and coordinate with design consultants on scalable layouts.
• Oversee site operations with safety, security and environmental standards, and monitor progress with reporting tools.
• Lead procurement of specialised equipment, negotiate high-value contracts and manage vendor performance against SLAs, including consultant procurement.
• Produce reports on metrics, risks and financial performance using Primavera P6, MS Project and Power BI.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience managing discipline-specific scopes on large-scale or multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Korean.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PE or Chartered Engineer are advantageous.
