Project and Program Manager – Automotive

About the role

Trustmotion, part of NXP, is looking for a technically savvy Project and Program Manager to drive the transformation of the automotive industry toward safe, software‑defined vehicles. The role is based in Korea and works closely with a leading OEM and internal expert teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple customer projects in parallel, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Act as the main point of contact for project‑related topics, providing transparent communication with customers.
• Translate customer requirements into internal actions and align with engineering teams on technical feasibility.
• Oversee milestone planning, risk and claim handling, and maintain effective steering and reporting structures.
• Lead technical discussions, identify and resolve issues proactively, and keep documentation up to date.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience in the automotive software domain.
• Several years managing software development projects for Tier‑1, Tier‑2, or OEM customers.
• Hands‑on engineering background; previous engineering team‑lead experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills in both Korean and English.
• High customer orientation and ability to build long‑term relationships.

Required skills

• Knowledge of automotive standards such as ASPICE and ISO 26262.
• Understanding of embedded architectures, software development processes, and integration workflows.
