IoT & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Pragmatike is hiring an IoT & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for an early‑stage Physical AI company that builds high‑fidelity robot training datasets. This hands‑on role owns the full technical chain from firmware on wearable sensors to scalable cloud pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain firmware for wearable sensing devices, including microcontroller programming and real‑time data acquisition.
• Build and operate reliable device‑to‑cloud communication and AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, IoT Core) for large‑scale multimodal data collection.
• Develop Python APIs and data pipelines for high‑throughput ingestion, processing, and storage of synchronized vision and tactile data.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain device fleets remotely, troubleshoot field issues, and provide engineering fixes.
• Collaborate with hardware, machine‑learning and data teams to define system requirements and improve the data collection workflow.

Required profile

• 4+ years of engineering experience across embedded systems and cloud platforms.
• Strong ownership, ability to work independently in a remote‑first, distributed environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Fluent English; Korean or Mandarin is a strong plus.

Required skills

• C/C++ and RTOS development for microcontrollers.
• Embedded firmware design, sensor integration, real‑time systems.
• AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, IoT Core.
• Python programming for APIs and data pipelines.
• Networking, security best practices, performance optimization, monitoring and logging.
