Field Service Manager – Semiconductor Equipment

About the role

Lam Research is seeking an experienced Field Service Manager to lead installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SABRE and SABRE 3D systems at customer sites. You will act as the primary liaison for Amkor Korea, ensuring high equipment uptime and strong customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site installation, preventive and corrective maintenance of SABRE/SABRE 3D tools.
• Manage field service teams, schedule personnel for critical situations, and oversee technical issue escalation with engineering.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Amkor Korea, conducting regular service review meetings.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Group, and Engineering to support new tool installations and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor service KPIs (uptime, response time, MTBF/MTTR, customer satisfaction) and report to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of semiconductor equipment field service experience.
• Proven experience with SABRE / SABRE 3D tools (strongly preferred).
• Fluent in Korean with working‑level English.
