About the role

KLA, a global leader in electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, is looking for an SKBU LS/SWIFT Customer Engagement Applications Engineer in Icheon, South Korea. The role provides technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA products in customer fabrication facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA products in customer fabrication facilities.
• Work closely with engineering, sales and marketing within KLA and with customer engineers.
• Provide escalation support to the onsite field service engineer, leading and coordinating remote and local troubleshooting.
• Perform experiments to characterize tool and subcomponent performance and develop recipes to model applications.
• Provide application support and training to customers.

Required profile

• MS or PhD degree in engineering, physics, chemistry or material science preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' to maximum 8 years' experience preferred.
• Process engineer experience preferred.
• Good communication skills in English.
