SKBU BBP Customer Engagement Applications Engineer (Experienced)

About the role

KLA, a global leader in electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, is looking for an experienced SKBU BBP Customer Engagement Applications Engineer in Icheon. The role provides technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA products in customer fabrication facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA products in customer fabrication facilities.
• Work closely with engineering, sales and marketing within KLA and with customer engineers.
• Provide escalation support to the onsite field service engineer, leading and coordinating remote and local troubleshooting.
• Perform experiments to characterize tool and subcomponent performance and develop recipes to model applications.
• Provide application support and training to customers.

Required profile

• Master's degree or above in Engineering, Physics, Material Science or Electronics.
• 3 years of experience after a Master's degree, or 5 years after a Bachelor's degree.
• Previous experience in IC processing or semiconductor equipment is highly preferred.
• An optics-related background is desirable.
• Good communication skills in English.
