Senior Principal – NVS Korea Outlet Retail Business

About the role

This senior position leads Nike Value Stores (NVS) in Korea, overseeing factory and clearance outlets as an individual contributor. It is a key part of Nike’s Direct‑to‑Consumer strategy, balancing growth with premium brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Korea NVS channel strategy, setting targets for revenue, margin, traffic and inventory health.
• Monitor KPIs and partner with Finance to meet financial commitments.
• Work with Planning to optimise assortments, close‑out, rebuys and markdowns for inventory productivity.
• Collaborate with Store Development on real‑estate planning, fleet optimisation, expansion and concept elevation.
• Partner with Retail Marketing to drive quality traffic and enhance the consumer experience while protecting brand standards.
• Identify operational and marketplace improvement opportunities using industry trends and best practices.
• Lead, coach and develop team members, fostering collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Represent Korea’s NVS perspective in regional discussions and ensure global strategies are localized effectively.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of retail management, merchandising or brand management experience, with outlet/value channel expertise.
• Proven track record driving revenue, margin and inventory productivity in complex retail operations.
• Strong financial and analytical skills; data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to lead and influence in a matrixed, cross‑functional environment.
• Fluency in Korean and high proficiency in written and spoken English.
