Direct Transport Sales – Air Freight

About the role

You will drive profitable growth by identifying, pursuing and winning new SME/LME BCO customers for Maersk's Air Freight business. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships and delivering value‑based logistics solutions that align with clients' supply‑chain objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and secure new SME/LME BCO business opportunities in line with Air Freight growth targets.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking and market engagement.
• Understand customers' supply‑chain needs and deliver tailored logistics solutions.
• Collaborate with Air Product, Pricing, Operations and Customer Experience teams to provide customer‑focused solutions.
• Monitor market trends, rate developments and industry insights, and communicate them to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, opportunities and sales activities in Salesforce CRM.

Required profile

• Commercially driven professional with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in air freight logistics or related commercial roles.
• Experience developing relationships with SME, LME or BCO customers.
• Proactive, motivated and able to work independently while collaborating across teams.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or similar sales management platforms.
