About the role
3M is seeking a motivated R&D Technician to join its Industrial Tape and Adhesive Division in Hwaseong. The role focuses on evaluating the physical properties of tape and adhesive products to support customer success and new product development.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare test specimens of tape and adhesive products for evaluation.
- Conduct physical‑property testing using a universal testing machine and a rheometer under defined test conditions.
- Analyze test data, generate reports, and provide insights to customers and internal teams.
- Identify improvement ideas for more effective property evaluation of 3M adhesive solutions.
- Support the evaluation of developmental products for new product launches.
Required profile
- Experience in physical‑property testing of chemical products.
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint for data presentation.
- Background in experimental data analysis and technical problem‑solving.
- Experience providing technical support to customers.
- High school diploma or higher; chemistry‑related education preferred.
