Production Planner - Iksan

About the role

The Production Planner coordinates, plans and manages the production schedule for the Suez Water Technologies & Solutions manufacturing facility or tolerer in Iksan. The role leads continuous improvement activities to improve planning efficiency, monitors production progress and takes corrective action so that customer on-time delivery is met.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, coordinate and approve the release of process orders to manufacturing based on material and capacity availability.
• Monitor and maintain production schedules to satisfy customer orders and forecasts, and reschedule production when demand, labour or material shortages occur.
• Use the SAP system and worksheets for production and capacity planning, and analyse demand, forecasts, orders, vessel optimisation, labour and material availability.
• Review MRP prompts, demand plans and inventory reports to adjust the schedule and balance production optimisation with inventory levels.
• Perform detailed capacity planning on equipment, labour and vessel space, and work with sourcing to coordinate material deliveries.
• Take part in daily production reviews, work with the Supply Chain team and suggest process improvements to the Production Manager and Supply Chain leaders.
• Support EHS, quality and compliance, promote a safety culture and report injuries, near misses, spills and quality issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Industrial or Chemical Engineering, or another engineering or business field.
• At least 5 years of supply chain management experience, preferably in a manufacturing company.
• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
