Global Product Manager - Organometallics

About the role

Air Liquide, a global leader in industrial gases and home healthcare gases, is hiring a Global Product Manager for its Organometallics products, based in Asia and preferably in Korea or Japan. The role coordinates requirements and actions across safety, health, regulatory and environmental needs, demand and capacity alignment, supply chain, manufacturing process and quality, working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Quality and Engineering, Air Liquide affiliates and third-party suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Interface with sales, affiliates, technical marketing and outside sources to understand the market and customer demand roadmaps.
• With the Product Director, write and defend product strategies for all molecules owned.
• Establish capacity roadmaps and validate them with operations, product development and engineering stakeholders.
• Take part in S&OP so sales targets are met, and maintain pricing, cost and profitability roadmaps.
• Develop business cases for new product investment and drive continuous improvement for product profitability.
• Ensure robust responses to customer quality issues, including task forces when needed.
• Participate in supplier audits, document compliance with Air Liquide requirements, and guide SOP creation with Operations and Engineering.
• Ensure compliance with customer Management of Change commitments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a physical science or engineering discipline with 10+ years of experience in a related field.
• 10+ years in specialty chemical manufacturing (semiconductor preferred).
• Fluent English, oral and written; willingness to attend early morning or evening meetings across time zones.
• Foreign nationals must have residency status permitting employment in South Korea; candidates must be able to travel globally (about 15% max).

Required skills

• Understanding of analytical methods, statistics and data processing for quality management; basic statistics and Six Sigma principles preferred.
• Project management, multitasking and planning skills.
• Preferred: advanced degree, 4+ years in electronic materials or semiconductor processes, semiconductor industry knowledge, air-reactive product manufacturing methods, product commercialization via stage/gate, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, thin-film ALD/CVD, and semiconductor customer processes and market trends.
