Principal, Workday HRIS

About the role

Coupang is hiring a Principal, Workday HRIS for its global Workday HRIS team, which operates across Korea, China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan), the US, Japan, Singapore, India and others, covering more than 30,000 employees. The team supports global HR teams on Workday system upgrades, from requirement analysis through testing, go-live and ongoing administration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Workday support and resolve user issues.
• Gather, analyze and prioritize business requirements.
• Design scalable, user-friendly Workday solutions.
• Implement system changes, testing and production migrations.
• Partner with HR and stakeholders to improve processes and operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; fluent English.
• 8+ years of Workday functional consulting experience or in-house HRIS background.
• Experience leading global Workday implementations.
• Good understanding of core HR processes.

Required skills

• Strong Workday HCM and Absence knowledge; other modules are a plus.
• Workday configuration, security, reports and EIBs.
• Project management, stakeholder management and problem-solving.

The position is full-time with a 12-week probation period, which may be shortened, extended or skipped. The recruitment process runs through application review, a job-fit interview and a focus interview.
