Senior/Principal, Learning & Development (1 Year Contract)

About the role

Coupang is looking for a strategic and hands-on Learning & Development (L&D) business partner to design and deliver learning experiences that help its people grow. The role partners closely with Strategic Talent Partners, business leaders and employees across Coupang Corp and its affiliates. It is a 1-year contract position based in Seoul.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver learning programs and projects that build enterprise-wide skills so Coupang can deliver great customer experiences.
• Run needs analyses to find skill gaps and recommend scalable solutions to the business.
• Work with Strategic Talent Partners and HR Business Partners to understand business needs, propose programs and report on impact and outcomes.
• Continuously measure program success using data and report back to stakeholders.
• Help define how the enterprise LMS is used, set best practices for content architecture, learning paths and digital engagement, and increase adoption.
• Design, build and deliver core people-manager training programs and learning journeys.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in leadership development, learning and development, human resources or talent development.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Korean native fluency or proficiency.
• Preferred: previous experience in e-commerce or retail; English and Japanese fluency preferred.

Required skills

• Instructional design and facilitation, in person and virtually.
• Experience with LMS and other content creation tools.
• Business partnering and stakeholder management, including presenting to and influencing senior leaders.
• Data literacy and data-driven decision making.
