Office Accountant

About the role

This position is based in Nike Korea’s Busan office and reports to the Senior Supervisor, Accounting. The role supports the Nike PMO Busan Office by ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strong internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations and analytical reviews.
• Manage statutory accounting, intercompany transactions and compliance in line with US GAAP, local regulations and Nike internal standards.
• Maintain effective internal controls, support internal and external audits, and resolve audit findings promptly.
• Develop, enhance and automate reporting and analytics to improve data quality and operational efficiency.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and lead cross‑functional initiatives with stakeholders and service providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 3 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, business analytics or finance operations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑support capabilities.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset with interest in process optimisation and automation.
• Excellent attention to detail, ownership and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
