Marketing Manager – South Korea

About the role

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead all marketing activities for Fender Music Korea. Based in Seoul, the role will connect Fender’s heritage with Korean consumers and musicians across brand, digital, social, design, artist, event, PR and e‑commerce channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute local marketing strategies, brand voice and communications plans for product launches and events.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration with global, Japan and South Korea marketing teams.
• Manage media relations, securing placements in print, social and digital outlets.
• Oversee project timelines, deliverables, trade promotions and key trade events in coordination with sales.
• Drive growth and engagement on social platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, LINE, YouTube, TikTok and emerging channels.
• Design and implement digital influencer and YouTuber campaigns.

Required profile

• 6‑7+ years of marketing experience with consumer‑driven brands or agencies in music, lifestyle, fashion/luxury or media.
• Proven track record of successful PR and marketing campaigns at local and national levels.
• Strong relationships with local and national media and experience as a company spokesperson.
• Full bilingual capability in English and Korean, with excellent translation and editing skills.
• University degree in advertising, marketing, design or related field.

Required skills

• Expertise in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
• Experience managing digital influencer and YouTuber collaborations.
• Strong writing, editing and bilingual translation abilities.
