ADAS System Lead Engineer in Autonomous and Commercial Mobility

About the role

The System Lead Engineer (SysLE) is responsible for systems engineering activities within the assigned system level for autonomous and commercial mobility projects at AUMOVIO Korea. The role leads the SE team through all project phases, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and delivering high‑quality system designs.

Key responsibilities

• Leads the planning of all system engineering activities according to customer/internal milestones, required scope and quality.
• Leads the system design definition and alignment of customer expectation/requirements in the quotation phase and successive project phases, including customer communication.
• Plans and controls the creation of SE work products within the assigned system level.
• Defines the plan for managing the SE effort and methods.
• Acts as technical interface to the customer for systems engineering related topics.
• Ensures traceability of requirements, including safety and security goals, to system levels above and below as well as to verification and validation.
• Develops the system operational concept.
• Plans and executes system engineering Milestone Level Commitments (MLCs) according to the defined schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in automotive or embedded hardware/software/system development.
• Experience with automotive systems, ECUs, and communication networks such as CAN and Ethernet.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems, functional safety and system integration.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex system topics.
