Engineering Manager (시청역 근무)

About the role

JLL is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead safe, reliable, and compliant operation of building engineering systems for a client‑owned facility in Seoul, including office spaces, on‑site and colocation data centres, and a disaster‑recovery site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems and critical infrastructure, ensuring availability, safety and performance.
• Manage incident response, emergency drills and after‑hours on‑call support for critical incidents affecting the building or data centres.
• Oversee outsourced engineering vendors, define scopes, supervise work, and drive continuous improvement through performance tracking.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and JLL engineering standards, maintaining controlled documentation such as as‑built drawings, O&M manuals and SOPs.
• Provide technical leadership for audits, small projects, change management, warranty close‑out and lifecycle improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering management experience, preferably in commercial real estate or data‑center environments.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in the Asia‑Pacific region, especially Korea, is desirable.

Required skills

• Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems knowledge.
• UPS, generator, HVAC/CRAC, BMS and monitoring/control systems.
• Vendor management and contract oversight.
• Regulatory compliance, audit preparation and documentation control.
• Incident and emergency response coordination.
